Der Showtec QFX besteht aus einem LED RGB Spot, einem Derby FX, einem Laser und einem Stroboskop, die alle an einer einzigen Halterung befestigt sind. Der QFX ist extrem praktisch und einfach auf- und abzubauen, was ihn besonders für mobile Unterhalter attraktiv macht, die Ihre Events mit dynamischen Lichtshows perfektionieren möchten. Der RG-Laser ist mit zahlreichen vielseitigen Gitter- und Bursteffekten ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Schlüsselverriegelung und einen Remote-Notausschalter. Das Stroboskop besteht aus 4 Sektionen mit unterschiedlichen vorprogrammierten Mustern. Der LED Spot und der Derby FX sind mit RGB-Farben ausgestattet, die einzeln oder in zahlreichen vorprogrammierten Kombinationen angesteuert werden können. Zu dem System gehören ebenfalls ein Dreibeinständer, ein kabelloser Fußschalter, eine IR-Fernbedienung sowie Tragetaschen, um das Set während des Transports optimal zu schützen. Der QFX Controller umfasst phänomenale automatische und musikgetaktete Programme, die mit allen 4 Effekten komplette Shows beleuchten können. Achtung: Der Laser funktioniert nur, wenn der Interlock-Anschluss an einen Remote-Notausschalter angeschlossen ist. Mit dem mitgelieferten Testanschluss können Sie überprüfen, ob der Laser ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Wenn Sie den Laser in einem öffentlichen Bereich verwenden, ist die Verwendung eines Notausschalters gesetzlich vorgeschrieben.

The main advantage of this light bar is that it is pre-assembled (ready-to-use, with controls included) and extremely compact, so it is ideal for traveling DJ-s. The whole pre-assembled bar fits into a special protective bag, which is supplied with it, so the DJ only needs to carry one bag and a tripod. Fixing the bar on the tripod and connecting it into the mains, the system is ready to be used, so it takes max 5 minutes (including unpacking) to set up the light show on any spot.
The whole system is smartly designed showing that the mastermind was already standing behind the DJ console and understands that the the DJ would sometimes need a third hand - the wireless foot control module supplied with the bar is a perfect prove to this. On top of the foot control, there's also an infra remote controller, which can be used from both sides of the bar, because infra receivers are smartly installed both in the front and in the rear.
In spite of its very compact size, the LED's are strong enough to cheer up a relatively big room (call it smaller hall). Each kind of light (PAR/Derby, strobo, laser) have 5-6 selectable programmes, so the light show can be changed among various modes on the fly, therefore it wouldn't get boring.
Yet my only negative remark is that the small Derby lamps are very much basic (I'd rather say a little bit primitive by nowadays technical standards), but because the whole system is very smart, it is not eye-catching on the fly.
As I've just recieved the bar a few days ago, these are my initial observations of my own test-run. Though the bar is DMX-programmable, I haven't had the time yet to check out the DMX functions.
All in all, this product will greatly simplify life for those traveling DJ-s, who make private parties for not more than 150-200 people.
